The sixth annual Alberta Culture Days kicks-off in many communities around the province Friday, with a big celebration going in Calgary Friday evening.

The family-friendly event goes from 4-10 p.m. at Olympic Plaza.

Calgary’s Manager of Culture Sarah Iley says it includes some great free entertainment.

“Makeshift Innocence which has had all kinds of top selling records, will be taking to the stage along with Sidney York, Cadence Weapon, and Bitterweed Draw,” says Iley.

There are a number of events going over the weekend in the city to celebrate Culture Days.
