High River could lose doctors

The news High River was re-opening its pre-flood health services were dampened Thursday with news many of its doctors may have to leave.

Many physicians in the town are considering provincial buyouts for their flood ravaged homes.

Dr. Adam Vyse and his wife, Dr. Nancy Vyse said they are two of at least eight doctors in the area who live in a floodway.

The two doctors tell the Calgary Herald, their home did not suffer extensive damage but are worried the provincial policy leaves them little choice but to move.

Homeowners have until November 30th to make a decision.
