Hot water tanks for flood victims

A heart – and hand – warming way for the Red Cross to help people recovering from the Flood.

The society is teaming up wit the province to put furnaces and hot water tanks into the homes of Albertans affected by the June disaster.

The Red Cross says, it will purchase and install the appliances, beginning October 7th,  in the homes of people who apply through the provincial government.

Albertans interested in this program should contact the Alberta government’s toll-free flood information line at 310-4455, and watch for program details to be posted online at redcross.ca.
