Police are looking for help in finding a suspicious person after a young girl was allegedly approached by a man on Wednesday morning.
It happened around 8 am near the corner of Edmonton Trail and 32nd Avenue N.E.
According to investigators, she was approached by a man in a small, black SUV with tinted windows who was calling out to her.
She recognized him from a similar incident the week before, after he had called out to her another time.
The 12 year old ran to school and notified her teachers.
Detectives are looking into whether this might be related to a previous incident that happened on September 27th.
In that case, a man driving a similar looking truck approached a 13 year old girl near 40th Avenue and Centre Street.
He called over to her, but she walked away.
In all three cases, the suspect was described as white, 25 to 45 years of age, with a skinny build, brown/grey hair and a possible Spanish accent.
The vehicle is described as a black SUV with tinted windows and similar in size to a Chevrolet Traverse, Ford Escape or Honda Element.
Anyone with information is asked to call police or Crime Stoppers.
