Calgary’s SAIT Polytechnic has claimed the top spot in a list of the best research colleges in Canada.

The list was released by Research Infosource Inc.

President and CEO David Ross says “it’s an important milestone for applied research in Canada”.

He says their students work alongside real world industry professionals to put the things they’ve learned to the test.

Edmonton’s NAIT claimed second place in the rankings, with Newfoundland’s College of the North Atlantic at number three.
