A blaze in the southeast had crews working Thursday morning.
Fire crews were called to the 100 block of McKenna Crescent around 8.a.m., where they found a fourplex on fire.
Fire spokesperson Carol Henke tells 660News, everyone made it out okay.
“There were three children home at the time; the oldest was a teenager. A smoke alarm did alert them to the fire. They all got out safely without injury,” she says.
Henke says they were even able to safely recover a cat and four kittens.
In all, fourteen people were evacuated, most of whom are able to return.
Damage was contained to one unit in the complex.
