Sled Island returns in 2014

Sled Island is rising out of the floodwaters.
The musical festival, which was forced to cancel this year after June’s devastation, will be back in 2014.
Organizers are thanking their supporters and ticketholders for giving them a boost; nearly 70 per cent of people chose not to ask for a refund after the cancellation, and instead, invest in Sled Island’s recovery.
Without those investments, the festival would have faced losses of up to $200,000.
The 2014 festival will run June 18-22.
