A man is in life-threatening condition after an officer-involved shooting in Radisson Heights.
Officials were called to the 2800 block of 12th Avenue S.E. around 11 a.m., to a call about a suspicious vehicle.
Staff Sgt. Scott Todd says once police approached the truck, he sped off and an officer discharged their weapon.
“One male has been transported to a local hospital; neither of our two officers were injured and the Alberta Serious Incident Response Team is coming out to take over the investigation,” he says.
The Dodge truck then veered off and slammed into a house on 12th Ave S.E.
EMS says a man and child were home at the time, but were uninjured.
