Driver facing charges after hitting power pole

Charges are expected to be laid Wednesday, against the driver of a truck that crashed into a power pole.

Police say around 10 p.m, a Ford 150 truck struck the pole at 14th Street and 24th Avenue southwest.

The driver of the alleged stolen vehicle wasn’t hurt.

Enmax crews had to be called in restore power, which shut down the intersection for about 40 minutes.
