A Vancouver elementary school has banned touching after they say kids were playing too aggressively.
According to the National Post, a letter was sent home to parents saying they would be outlawing all forms of “hands-on play” from then on.
The letter urged parents to reinforce “other imaginary games” that had nothing to do with play fighting.
School spokesperson Ken Hoff tells the paper, there are were a lot of misconceptions about the ban.
He says they were merely concerned about kids getting injured on the playground.
