Some A-list Calgarians will be tasting the city’s best pizza Thursday night at Cowboys Dancehall.
Eric Francis’ Pizza Pig Out is welcoming famous faces like Calgary Flames Lee Stempniak and Mark Giordano, and Stampeder Drew Tate to help find YYC’s best ‘za, and help raise money for KidsSport.
Francis says it’s been five years, but Calgary is excited to have the event back.
“We’ve got mountains of mozzarella, lots of beer and lots of smiles on peoples faces, and everyone seems to enjoy it because it’s very casual and it’s unique. It’s unlike any other fundraiser we have in Canada,” he says.
Over 200 pizzas will be judged for the titles of best veggie, most unique, best dessert pizza and more!
