Police investigating stabbing in Oakridge

A man is recovering in hospital after a Friday morning stabbing in the southwest in what police believe was a targeted attack.

Duty Inspector Guy Baker said the attack happened just after 12:15a.m. in the 400 block of Oakfern Way.

“We have an adult male who was stabbed several times in the upper torso/head area. He is listed in serious but stable condition,” explained Baker.

The victim hasn’t been cooperative with police and isn’t revealing who hurt him.

Baker added no witnesses have come forward, but officers are speaking to several people who they believe may be connected.
