AB economy growing population

Alberta’s oil and gas industry has given the province a major population boost.
According to Statistics Canada, the province’s demographic growth was almost three times the national average from 2012-2013.
The increase was strongest for people aged 30 to 44, as more workers migrated to the west.
The economic boom in Alberta means we have the highest employment and job vacancy rates in the country.
