We will find out on Thursday afternoon what the future holds for Enbridge’s Northern Gateway Pipeline proposal.
The National Energy Board’s joint review panel, that has been holding hearings on the pipeline for several months, will release its recommendation to the Federal Government about the $6.5-billion proposal.
The report will also include terms and conditions Enbridge must implement if the project is approved.
The 1,177-km pipeline would bring diluted oil sands bitumen from an area northeast of Edmonton to Kitimat, B.C., for shipment to Asia.
