No charges laid in apparent swarming

Police say it doesn’t look like charges will be laid after an early morning brawl broke in Forest Lawn.

It happened in the parking lot of a strip mall outside a bar at the corner of 17th Ave and 36th Street S.E. around 3:30 Monday morning.

Witnesses reported seeing a group of at least 50.

Eight to ten were seen kicking and punching an individual on the ground.

According to investigators, EMS wasn’t required and the victim isn’t being cooperative.
