Mere hours after issuing a Canada wide warrant, police have found their man charged with attempted murder and stealing a pickup truck.
Ken Wallage, 38, is accused of firing shots into a trailer in Warner, south of Lethbridge, which narrowly missed two people sleeping inside on the night of December 28th.
Calgary Police Duty Insp. Keith Cain said they found him in the city shortly after 1:00 p.m. Saturday at the corner of Memorial Drive and Edmonton Trail N.E.
“We had a number of officers attend the area and we spent some time searching before we were able to locate this person and when we did, he was walking and finally we arrested him,” Cain said.
Cain said a tip from the public led to the arrest, without incident.
Wallage is charged with two counts of attempted murder and is accused of stealing a Dodge Ram pickup.
