Those looking for a flu shot will have to try their doctor’s office or their local pharmacist Monday, because the two mass immunization clinics in the city are shutdown.

Alberta Health Services will offer free flu shots starting again Tuesday, running through Saturday from 11 a.m. – 6:30 p.m. each day, at both the Brentwood Village Mall and the South Calgary Health Centre.

Those shots are on a first come first serve basis.

Over the weekend it was revealed the flu vaccine was in short supply at pharmacies across the province.

Efforts are underway to restock the supply.
