New gadget helps you shush your TV

No more hunting for the remote when you want to take a phone call.
One of the cool software kits unveiled at the Consumer Electronics Show is Point Grab.
It lets you mute your TV by putting one finger to your lips: the international symbol for “shush”.
The technology also allows viewers to paues the PVR or change channels by drawing the desired channel number in the air.
As well, you can turn off or on applicances simply by pointing at them, close curtains and turn up the lights.
Experts predict over the next few years, gesture-controlled appliances will become the norm.
