Teens face charges after numerous vehicles vandalized in the SE

More than 50 charges have been laid against two teenagers after several vehicles were vandalized in southeast Calgary.

Early Friday morning, a neighbour in Cranston watched a passenger in an SUV smash the rear window of a car with what looked like a baton.

Responding officers found numerous other vehicles with damaged driver-side mirrors and later discovered even more cars had been damaged in the community of McKenzie Lake.

Police have arrested two 16-year-old boys and charged them with 25 counts each of property damage and one count of possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose.
