AHS warns about measles at area high schools

Alberta Health Services is warning anyone who was at a Calgary high school last Friday; they may have been exposed to measles.

They are asking anyone who was at Western Canada High between 8:30a.m. and 5p.m. to be aware of symptoms that include a high fever, cough, runny nose and or red eyes, and a red blotchy rash.

AHS says there was a confirmed case of measles at the school.

If you were there during these times, and experience symptoms, you should avoid contact with others, and call your doctor or Alberta Health Link.
