Death in Coventry Hills

Calgary police don’t believe a woman and two children, taken to hospital, were intentional victims after a tragic call to Coventry Hills Thursday morning.
EMS Spokesperson Adam Loria said one person was found dead on scene.
Duty inspector Derek Curtis tells 660News after the fire department cleared the scene, police continue to investigate in the northeast community.
“At about 8:30 am this morning we got a call about an individual who may have committed suicide and upon arrival we discovered that potentially three other occupants of the home had been impacted. We don’t believe the impact was intentional and they have been transported for assessment to the hospital,” said Curtis.
Police said the woman and two children taken to hospital were not seriously hurt and were transported more as a precaution.
