Brazen stabbing on Stephen Avenue

Calgary police are searching for a suspect after a brazen daylight stabbing downtown.
The victim, a man in his late 20’s, was rushed to hospital after being stabbed along Stephen Ave. at 1st St. southwest, around 3 p.m. Monday.
The man was originally in potentially life-threatening condition, but has since been upgraded to serious but stable condition.
Police tell 660News they believe the stabbing was over drugs.
They are asking for anyone who may have witnessed the incident on the busy walk way to give them a call.
