Republicans in U.S. congress are preparing to give the White House a push towards Keystone approval.
House Majority Leader Eric Cantor told the Globe and Mail, they are considering attaching the pipeline decision to a new law to raise the debt ceiling.
The bill is likely to pass, as Americans are looking to avoid another financial crisis.
Cantor said America needs Keystone, and they’ll do whatever needs to be done to get it a green light.
The pipeline would carry more than 800 thousand barrels of oil from Alberta to Nebraska.
