Temporary foreign workers program in for more reforms

More changes are coming to the temporary foreign workers program, amidst concerns recent reforms have affected the ability to recruit talent.

The Globe and Mail reports, the federal government overhauled the program last April, to give Canadians a leg up in getting positions, but companies say if they want to hire top talent from another country, the process to bring them in takes far too long.

Employment Minister Jason Kenney is promising a new fast track system for highly skilled positions.

He told the paper, those frustrated with the system need to be a little more patient.
