Alberta gov’t gets poor grade from CFIB

As part of Red Tape Awareness Week, The Canadian Federation of Independent Business has released its annual report card.
It ranks the progress being made by governments to streamline rules and regulations.
British Columbia got the highest mark receiving an ‘A’ grade, the same score it had last year.
The federal goverment is also being applauded for its efforts to reduce red tape with a score of ‘ B+’.
If the report cards included comments, Albertans would read: more work needs to be done.
The Redford goverment received a ‘D’ from the C.F.I.B., which is down from a ‘D+’ last year.
