Producers on City’s blockbuster Bachelor Canada are hoping there’s a few Calgarians who will accept a rose for Season 2.
They’re in town casting guys and girls who are open to finding the person of their dreams.
Calgary auditions take place on Tuesday, January 28th at the Delta Bow Valley Hotel from 10a.m. to 8p.m.
According to the rules, women must be at least 19 years of age, a Canadian citizen, they can’t be a candidate for political office and they must have a valid passport.
New this year, producers are also looking for guys.
According to the website, mining.com, they have a particular type of bachelor in mind.
He must be “a vibrant, single man, aged 30 to 36, handsome, outgoing and successful, open to adventure, not easily intimidated, someone who likes travel and is interested to explore some of the world’s most exclusive destinations.”
The successful guy must also “be open to love and accept the challenge of finding the women of his dreams.”
Last year’s bachelor Brad Smith and his fiancee Bianka Kamber recently told City the most important thing is to be yourself.
“Your best ability to be in a situation where you can be cast is to go in and be 100 per cent yourself because they’re going to fill the spot based on who you are, not who you want them to think you are,” Smith says.
Doors open at 9a.m.
