Justin Bieber charges, music video, go viral

The day after Justin Bieber surrendered to Toronto Police, news of the pop singer’s exploits were trending worldwide on Twitter.

However, it wasn’t his assault charges that went viral on Thursday morning. Instead, #JustinIsNakedInTheConfidentVideo was trending worldwide.

Confident is the name of the song featured in the video that was released while he was in custody on Wednesday night.

Bieber is accused of assaulting a limo driver in Dec. 29, 2013. A court date has been set for March 10. He’s also facing charges in Miami. He has pleaded not guilty to resisting arrest, driving under the influence and driving with an expired licence.

Toronto Coun. Adam Vaughan, whose ward includes 52 Division — which was where Bieber turned himself in — joked to reporters at city hall saying, “What’s the difference between Rob Ford and Justin Bieber? Bieber shoots and cuts his own videos.”
