Ski and Snowboard hills at Canada Olympic Park will remain closed Wednesday, because of the extremely cold weather in the city.
With Environment Canada forecasting wind chills near -33 degrees celsius, WinSport says it’s making the decision based on the safety of the park’s guests and staff.
Other areas of the park, including the Markin MacPhail Centre, the Calgary Gymnastics Centre and Canada’s Sports Hall of Fame are still open.
The hills will likely be up and running Thursday, but a final decision will be made late Wednesday.
