Redford making school announcement

Alberta’s premier will be talking about investing in education Wednesday in Okotoks.

Alison Redford is set to make an announcement at Foothills Composite High School at 10a.m.

Education Minister Jeff Johnson will join the premier to discuss the “Building Alberta” plan.

Redford promised when she was elected in 2012 to upgrade and modernize 120 schools in Alberta.

Nine schools here in Calgary have already been slated for a makeover.
