Firearm lovers in U.S. upset with border arrest

Gun enthusiasts in the States are angered after an American was arrested for trying to take a firearm into Canada.
Retired army Sgt. Louis Di Natale was on holiday with his wife when he says he got lost using his GPS and ended up at the border.
The 46-year-old from Kentucky says it was “an honest mistake” when he forgot he had a gun in his vehicle’s console.
The National Post reports, he now faces gun smuggling charges and up to three years in prison.
A lawyer for Di Natale says his client should be cut some slack and that ” forgetting a gun in your car is no different than forgetting you had a pair of hockey skates up here in Canada.”
