Could Canada be headed to the moon?

A big announcement is expected Friday about Canada’s space program.
Industry Minister James Moore is laying out a new plan for the agency and there’s speculation we could be sending a Canadian to the moon.
The National Post reports, Moore has been promising to give the struggling program hit by budget cuts in recent times, a boost.
Canada could likely be part of a NASA Resource Prospector Mission in 2018, as astronauts are invited to scout for water and minerals on the moon.
The CSA says its priority is to get one of Canada’s current spacemen to the international space station between 2016 and 2019.
