Calgary students could have artwork featured on Google

Four calgary students have the chance to get their artwork featured on Google’s website!
In October, the students entered the Google contest after the company asked kids to create a doodle, on something they would like to invent.
Aydin Hirji is just five and a half years old, and attends Delta West Academy.
He is one of the thousands of students from Kindergarten through Grade 12 who submitted their Google doodles for the contest.
He wants to be an astronaut when he grows up and tells 660News, if he could invent anything he would choose bonbon trees, because he loves candy.
Eleven year old Sahil Brar is also a semi-finalist; he attends FFCA North Middle school and says if he could invent anything it would be jetpack basketball.
Both are among the four semi-finalists including, Amy Wo from Tom Bains and Loveprett Singh Dhaliwal from FFCA North Middle School.
Not only will the winner have their art featured on google.ca for a day, they’ll also get a $10,000 scholarship and a $10,000 grant to their school.
You can vote on your favourite design until Friday and a winner will be announced February 25th.
