Blackjack tables will soon stay open ’til 3a.m.

Blackjack players will be soon be aiming 21 a little later in Alberta.

Starting April 1st, gamblers playing table games like blackjack can keep the cards flying until 3 a.m.

The call by the Alberta Gaming and Liquor Commission makes the operating hours the same as those for casino slot machines.

Currently, table games can only operate for 14 consecutive hours.

Each individual casino will make the final decision whether they want to stay open later.
