Inmate dies in Drumheller

A 25-year-old inmate has been found dead at Drumheller Institution.

Kenneth William Scaher was found “unresponsive” in his cell by staff members, who couldn’t resuscitate him with CPR.

Scaher was serving three years in prison for aggravated assault.

There’s no word on his cause of death; Correctional Service of Canada is investigating.
