Small business owners have ranked provincial governments based on their vision and ability to help grow the entrepreneurial spirit.
Saskatchewan finished on top, with Alberta coming in third.
An executive vice president with the Canadian Federation of Independent Business Laura Jones says when it comes to making small business a priority many provincial governments talk the talk, but very few consistently walk the walk.
The provincial governments in Quebec and Manitoba tied for last spot in the rankings.
When it comes to which province is the best to start up a new business, Saskatchewan took that honour as well.
