U of C shows off dinosaur discovery

A monster of a discovery in Drumheller will be presented to the public Thursday morning.

Paleontologists from the University of Calgary uncovered a massive pachyrhinosaur skull back in October.

It’s among the largest ever discovered of its kind, with the last similar find made over 50 years ago.

Pachyrhinosaurs were herbivores that lived 70 million years ago in what is now Alberta and Alaska…

The dinosaur had large horns, with a frill on its back that extended over its neck.
