Meteor hits the moon

Scientists are calling it the biggest lunar impact ever recorded.
Researchers from a University in Spain say in September, a 400 kilogram rock, travelling 61,000 kilometres an hour smashed into the moon, producing a flash of light that was visible from earth.
The meteor was 10 times bigger than the former record holder; a 40 kilogram rock that hit the moon in March of last year.
