C.O.P closed through the weekend

WinSport has announced Canada Olympic Park’s ski hill will be closed through Sunday because of the cold weather.

WinSport typically uses a -25c threshold, with or without wind chill, to close the hill.

Other areas of the park, including the Markin MacPhail Centre, the Calgary Gymnastics Centre and Canada’s Sports Hall of Fame will remain open.

A final decision on re-opening to the public on Monday will be made on Sunday, based on the latest forecast.
