Canada still pushing for Keystone approval

The federal government continues to press U.S. President Barack Obama to approve the Keystone XL Pipeline.
Canada’s ambassador to Washington Gary Doer has sent a three page letter, which argues the merits of the project, that would transport oil from Alberta into the United States.
Protests have been ongoing on both sides of the border because of environmental concerns.
Secretary of State John Kerry is leading a regulatory review of the proposal, and a decision is expected in a couple of months.
