Hit and run leaves man with life threatening injuries

Calgary police are searching for a vehicle after a hit and run in the northwest community of Kensington left man in his forties with very serious injuries.
Duty Inspector Michael Watterston said the incident happened along 10th Street near 3rd Avenue NW around 11:30 p.m. Saturday.
“A pedestrian was struck but what we believe was a black Audi,” said Watterston. “The vehicle then fled the scene.”
Watterston said that the Traffic Unit has taken the lead on the investigation and they are speaking to a number of witnesses.
The victim was rushed to hospital in life threatening condition.
Police are asking anyone with information about the incident to call them.
