The Brits are tracking a monster shark headed to the coast of Cornwall from near Newfoundland.
Press across the pond have been having fun with Lydia, a great white tagged with a satellite locator.
Taking a page out of Jaws, they’re counting down until she hits holiday beaches and causes mayhem.
However, Senior Marine Fisheries Scientist Gregory Skomal tells the National Post, Lydia is exhibiting typical shark behaviour, and we really can’t predict where she’s headed.
He says she’s unusual in at least one sense: she’s the first great white who’s ever been tracked across the Atlantic Ocean.
