32K raised after heartwarming homeless lotto prank

A heartwarming viral video has helped a homeless man hit the jackpot.

A YouTube prankster posted a video over the weekend, where he arranged for a fake lottery ticket to win $1,000.

He gave the ticket, and the cash to a homeless man named Eric.

It was the man’s response that caught everyone’s attention: he wanted to share his winnings.

The National Post reports, a crowdsourcing account was set up in Eric’s name, and has quickly raised over $32,000.

The prankster, The Magic of Rahat, also put Eric up in a hotel and took him out for dinner afterwards.
