Toronto physician gets peace prize

A Toronto doctor is being awarded the Calgary Peace Prize.
Dr. Samantha Nutt will be presented the honour Thursday, by the Calgary Centre for Global Community and the Consortium for Peace Studies at the University of Calgary.
Dr. Nutt is an award-winning humanitarian, best-selling author, and acclaimed public speaker.
She has worked with children and families for two decades in war-torn countries facing major crisis.
A gala will take place at the Magnolia Banquet Hall.
