Springtime activities put on hold with below average weather

This is supposed to be the time for spring cleaning with the warm and sunny weather, but that isn’t the case this year.
This weekend’s temperatures might get above -10C , but just barely and it could be quite snowy Saturday night.
Meteorologist David Spence said it could get around -9C on Saturday, followed up by -6C on Sunday.
“The average high is about four degrees,” he said.” so we’re 10 to 15 degrees below average.”
Spence added not only is it cold, but there will also be some snow, which should be taken into consideration when making travel plans.
“Saturday will definitely be the trickiest day for travel,” he said. “Flurries during the day and snow during the evening.”
As for when we may get out of the cold, it may not be until mid-next week that Calgary’s weather is back on the plus side.
