Semi crash causes Glenmore Trail closure during afternoon rush

If you’re stuck on Glenmore Trail or Deerfoot Trail in the southeast, you’ll likely be passing quite a sight where the two roadways merge.
A flipped over tractor trailer has emergency crews blocking the eastbound lanes of Glenmore which happened late Thursday afternoon.
The front of the semi is partially over the meridian.
Calgary Police tell 660News the driver of the semi is fine, but has been taken to hospital for minor injuries.
Luckily no one else is hurt.
The road will remain closed for several hours until later Thursday night. 660News will have updates in our traffic reports.
