Study says Calgarians are cheap tippers

It seems oil country money doesn’t trickle down to Calgary’s service industry as much as a person may think.
A survey by a company in San Francisco, which looks at tipping, finds Calgary is the worst when it comes to gratuities.
According to the numbers, spenders leave about 13 per cent gratuities about 59 per cent of the time.
Ottawa is the most generous place in the study with the average person leaving more than 15 per cent tip more than 76 per cent of the time.
