One Calgarian is a million dollars richer!

Sarah Bowman won the $1 million Scratch ‘n Win prize on her Set for Life lottery ticket.

She bought her ticket at Gateway Newstand along 4th Avenue SW.

She diligently waited until after work and that’s when she scratched her ticket, which unveiled she was a winner!

“I was shocked,” she said. “I just sat there for half an hour staring at it.”

Sarah plans to pay off her mortgage, as well as some bills and she wants to invest for the future.
