A Calgary man is facing multiple charges linked to stolen vehicles and licence plates.
Detective Mike Saunders says the case dates back to October of 2013 when the auto theft unit found a stolen vehicle.
He says, “They requested forensic testing be done on that vehicle; fingerprints left in the vehicle identified a person who may have more information about how the vehicle came to be in the alley.”
41-year-old John Piche faces two counts each, of possession of stolen property over and under $5,000, three counts of operating a vehicle without insurance, and possession of crystal meth.
