All lanes of Highway-1 reopened

All lanes of the TransCanada highway have reopened, following a single vehicle crash that critically injured a man in his 50’s.

Just after 8:30 this morning, the man was rushed to hospital after his car rolled.

EMS spokesman Stuart Brideau says slippery road conditions likely played a factor in the crash.

Calgary police say between midnight and 9 o’clock this morning, there have been 42 reported crashes in the city. Five of the crashes involved injuries.
