Environment Canada warns Good Friday could be snowed-out

Calgarians hiding eggs outside will want to make sure they are painted! If they are white it may be impossible to see them pretty soon.
Environment Canada has issued a special weather statement for Calgary saying there’s a small possibility we could see over 10 cm of snow Friday.
Environment Canada Meteorologist Heather Rombough explains there’s a band of precipitation coming from the west, and it could meet with some cold air coming from the south.
“With the cold air, it could actually change over to snow, which is not what the models are suggesting at this point,” she said. “Basically, the amount of snow that falls will be based on whether the precipitation changes to snow from rain.”
Rombough says even if the precipitation starts as rain in the morning, it could convert to snow in the afternoon.
